"Never wrote a review but needed to on this resort when we arrived we were preferred so the desk actually made reservations to 4 restaurants for us i thought but when the days came they did not also the air conditioner broke down 3 times to no avail called front desk let it wring about 80 times no answer had to walk down in person to complain for a third time the food was subpar except for the habatchi restaurant that was amazing.i will never go back Rooms1.0Service1.0Location3.0 "

"This resort has something for everyone from all sorts of water crafts , bowling, pickleball, ping pong, nightly shows such as Michael Jackson and Madonna tribute and karaoke nights, spa and good size casino, mini golf, kiddie water park and driving range. In addition to 2 buffets, there were 4-6 sit down restaurants . The French restaurant was our favorite ."

"We just returned from a 6 day trip for my husband’s birthday with our two children and girlfriend. We are extremely happy with Zel Punta Cana. Everything from the spacious rooms beautiful beach and exceptional staff made our stay here an unforgettable one. Carlos the activity director was beyond a pleasure as well as most everyone that worked at the hotel. The hotel couldn’t do enough for my family. The ride to the beach takes only a few short minutes and was a nice scenic ride through beautiful well kept grounds. We all enjoyed the golf cart ride and all the drivers were extremely kind. Food was delicious and service at all dining options was great. Our favorite was Volcan but all were delicious. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"Place has lots to do. Buildings are dated. 35 year old resort. Lots of maintenance issues but they fixed problems immediately. Food Good. Pool Clean and cleaned daily. Beach calm and clean. In a cove. Staff excellent!"

"Great food selection throughout the buffets and restaurants. Lots of local options as well. Local vendors are on the beach for excursion possibilities. Bars are conveniently located. Domingo was the best bartender, located at the adult only pool. Room was very clean and the ladies did a great job of keeping it tidy. Casino was pretty slow but if it’s a busy night, enjoyable. Coffee spot was relaxing and I loved the layout of the entire property. "
