Everything about The Trail is excellent. The food, outstanding, drinks, the bartenders were amazing and so polite, the room, wowza, highly recommended. A little pricey but for Bardstown best hotel hands down

The suite was awesome. It was your own bourbon lounge. The pool and hot tub was perfect. The bar and lounge was excellent. Food drinks where really good. Im glad we canceled our dinner plans and stayed here. The only thing I would recommend is stay two days instead of one.

This is a unique hotel and you can easily spend they day there with all it has to offer. Definitely set up more for adult entertainment and relaxation after some bourbon tours. Close to down town Bardstown which is so cute.I would recommend to stay here. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly.

Love the unique style of this particular hotel. Lobby was lovely, rooms were clean and decorated nicely, restaurant was very convenient for breakfast and snacks. Located in Bardstown, driving to & from distilleries was easy. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Just a quick note to anyone staying here... your rooms are outside accessible only. Property is fenced in so safety isn't an issue.

A great place to stay, the speakeasy was a fun touch! Everyone was helpful and friendly. The only part that was a disappointment was the oxygen bar. We reserved time and no one showed up. We found someone at the front desk, but they just turned the machines on and left us. We didn’t really know what we were doing. Otherwise, the rooms and service were great!

I can’t say enough good things about this motel. From the delicious-smelling lobby to the well-appointed rooms, this is HOW you revitalize a property. Delicious cocktails, comfy bedding, and a pool that would rival a resort, The Trail has it all. My only complaints would be that the “order from your lounge chair” and outdoor bar weren’t in operation while we were there, but that saved us a lot of money in the long run. Ha!

Loved it and excited to come back next year! The decor and details were on point. The food is incredible and the drinks are spectacular. Cards or games and music could be nice in the Lounge across from the Bourbon Alley for another place to hang out there.
