โWe stayed for two nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel has such character and is on a beautiful island with amazing views in every direction. We particularly enjoyed a swim in the mermaid pool and dinner in the Pilchard Inn. The highlight was dressing for dinner and dining in the grand ballroom on my birthday. โWhat a beautiful apartment with amazing views and a balcony, well equipped spotless and comfortable, my only slight complaint was that the car parking facility which we required wasnt clear until we got there, not having been to Dartmouth before , we could only unload at the property which then were steps down to the apartment, we had to park down in the town in the Mayors avenue car park then we didnt realise we needed the permit that was back in the apartment, so we had to drive back up to...
โVery nice property, most things required were supplied. Only disappointment was the pillows, ones supplie were old and very inferior quality plus they did not have pillow protectors on. This was the only downside โ
โThe property itself okay, but unclean. The bedding was clean, but the carpeted areas and soft furnishings were not. Crumbs on the sofa and visibly dirty dusty carpet, the mattress was deeply stained brown and filled with crumbs and food waste under it. Has some cute features throughout , however, the biggest issue with this property is the incredibly vile smell of drainage or sewage that permeates in the living room. You cannot be in that room without the windows open and spraying air...
