We had a very pleasant stay and experience at the hotel. We booked a room with two queen beds. Beds were incredibly comfy, surroundings very quiet (in October), bathroom was clean and over all the staff was nice and arranging. We had the breakfast buffet at the restaurant and staff was lovely, food was pretty good. We would recommend it and come back when visiting the Sandbanks!

The Yuk Yuk’s event was fantastic, with great comedians and an amazing Thanksgiving buffet. Overall, we had a great time at the resort, and the highlight was the staff, from the manager to the servers to the chef, who came to our table both times we were at the restaurant to ask if we were enjoying our meals (which we loved on both occasions).

Staff was lovely. Main building was beautiful and well-apointed. The room certainly left something to be desired. It was very dusty, many cobwebs and the ceiling fan was, I believe, previously white but darkened by black webs. The flooring in the bedroom and bathroom was cracked and stained. Gorgeous property. Would be wonderful in the summer especially for kids.

Beautiful location with amazing views. In the process of updating the resort with oblivious signs of improvement such as a very nice heated outdoor pool and area . In the next couple of months replacing mattresses and updating decks and menu in main restaurant. A solid 3.5 / 4 heading to a 4.5

My only concern was the outside stairs at the inn and the lack of an area to sit out on the second floor. The property is beautiful with plenty of amenities and the restaurant was quite good.

There is evidence of upgrading in our room particularly. Needs a good coat or paint on the trim doors and stair rails. The room is clean, comfortable bed, fireplace and a large jacuzzi. All great. The view across the lake from the patio is spectacular. The main dining and reception areas are beautifully set up, a good selection of meals that were well presented and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It was the perfect location for our little getaway. Room was great, direct access to West Lake, pool on-site, great food at the restaurant, simple check in and check out. We were even able to rent a boat close by without driving.
