โBeautiful big pub and restaurant, very clean and lovely staff, They serve Indian food which is to die for. The rooms are very well equipped and they also do a happy hour which is a bonus.โ
โWOW! What an awesome place,. The room and views were to die for. Sharon was a fantastic host, very helpful and informative and provided an excellent hearty breakfast. We will be returning this year and will not consider staying anywhere else โ
โHave to say the staff who dealt with us front of house and I the restaurant, are pretty much the best I have ever experienced. Only downside of anything was kitchen side as waited over an hour for breakfast after orderingโ
โWe loved ot here and i have nothing bad to say about it the service was 100% the breakfast was great and even when we arrived and we couldn't open our window nothing was to.much trouble and he just got on and did it me and my other half are definitely going to make coming here a regular thing amd the afternoon tea was excellent thank you and see you again soon โ

โIt's such a lovely spot and the room was spacious, super clean and with a view out to the lovely surrounding area. The bed was also very comfy and the pillow too, and this from someone who is princess and the pea with her pillows! I also got a really great rate for my one night stay.โ
โLovely 15th century pub with lots of character and beautiful setting. Family run and they really couldnโt have done any more to help us and make our stay a good one. Food exceptional. โ
โGreat for Peak District, lively pub with atmospheare...well prepared food at reasonanle prices and nice and quiet after 11 or so.... full breakfast with options. Really enjoyed a one nighr stop and would return whrn next out hiking!โ
