A wonderful, airy and well kept apartment. It’s right in the middle of Edinburgh and a stones throw from the National Gallery. Shops are round the corner of all varieties. Restaurants, coffee shops to choose between. It was the ideal place to stay.

The price point is high for the room we had, which did not look anything like what was advertised. If you like being in the center of the tourist stuff, this is a good location, but there are other hotels close enough that are less expensive. Lovely building in the front (Grand Cafe), but that seems to be a facade. I checked the date of the last renovation and it was a long time ago, hence the impression that the place is just tired. And breakfast is not included.

This will be a short review. Don't faff about. If you are considering this place, stop considering. Commit. It is very unlikely you will be disappointed with anything from its cleanliness, size and location etc. It's excellent. Book it now!
