"The Hotel was going through what looked like some upgrades and remodel so there were boxes and such at the end of the hall. The pool and hot tub were very worn. The finish coatings were missing in the pool and hot tub giving the impression of some significant wear, but everything seemed to work properly. The room was kind of noisy."

"Michillinda Lodge is a historic resort - not lavish, but clean and beautiful. Several outdoor amenities such as a tennis/pickleball court and a swimming pool are provided. The property sits atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and provides access to a small beach. The staff is friendly and skilled. Our stay was relaxing and surrounded with beauty."

"Overall, the hotel was fine for what we paid. It’s definitely dated and a little worn in places, but our room was clean, the sheets were clean, and the AC worked well. The staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any major issues. If you’re looking for something modern or upscale, this probably isn’t it, but if you just need an inexpensive, clean place to stay with friendly service, it does the job."
