"This is the kind of place that perfectly fit the environment of my travels. The cottage was exactly as pictured in the Expedia profile. Very private and close to the sites I was exploring on that section of my trip. The view, looking out the front window, is picture worthy. The unit is very clean. A bit rustic but that was a feature for me. I didn't use the kitchen for anything but making coffee but it seemed to have some basics for those of you wanting to a little more food prep. The refrigerator was a bit too cold - if froze a carton of yogurt overnight. The bed was very comfortable. I did not see anywhere where I could control the heat but it was mostly comfortable enough. Like most things in Iceland, it is expensive for what you get but it was priced on par with most any other place in the area. If I go to the general Vik region again, I would stay there."

"This cute, small hotel is easy to find, close enough to Vik to make a quick trip into town easy (wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have a car). Very close to Reynisfara beach which is beautiful. The hotel itself is clean, room was large (fit 3 of us easily), bathroom and shower were great, and breakfast was simple, but delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful."
