“Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!”

“Room was spotless and comfortable. Beautiful spot. Host was great! Only thing I could suggest is the proper amount of towels for the amount of guests booked. We only had two towels for three guests. But this doesn’t affect how we feel about the place! Great stay!”

“The toilets dont work most of the time so maintenance has to be called atleast once a day to get the water running. Breakfast is free but EVERYDAY it is Horrible eggs, sausage plantains, and rice...location is far away from most attractions. Rooms were dirty however housekeeping states they come everyday. 2 towels for a family of 4. Absolute NIGHTMARE!!!”

“Beautifully Tucked in the hillside but worth the drive from La Fortuna. The owner, John and smiling staff greeted us with a complementary cocktail My family of 2 adults & 2 teens could only stay one night, but loved the private spacious and modern bungalow. The lush gardens and breathtaking view of valley were exceptional. Pool more for dipping…Too small to swim. More affordable breakfast would be great, but would definitely stay there again. ”

“We flew in to San Jose around 12pm. We headed out of town towards La Fortuna. I thought this would get us out of the city and close to our first day of activities. The area was quiet. The room was very clean. We speak very little Spanish and the staff spoke very little English. However we were able to communicate to get what we needed. The hotel is one block from the Main Street. We found the supermarket with ease. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit with a large breakfast of beans...
