"The hotel looks stunning from outside and whilst the common areas are small, they are beautifully decorated in a way similar to The Pig chain if you know that (quirky). Our room wasn’t that big and whilst the 4 poster bed was very comfy, it almost crowded the room too much. The tea and coffee machine was housed in a dolls house and on the landing was a ‘pantry’ where you could help your self to drinks and snacks. Again quirky and smile inducing. A complimentary self service breakfast, choose from crumpets brown and white bread for toasting also cearel yogurts and pastries. Tea and coffee and orange juice. Staff very friendly. Peaceful area close to centre via bootham gate. On street parking at a charge of £5 per night. "
