“We had the cooked English breakfast and the eggs royal, which were both excellent. We also enjoyed the generous range of cereals, pastries, breads and drinks available. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room was very clean with stunning views.”

“Loved it here! Beautiful, old pub. Spent 1 night, cosy room, comfy bed & pillows, good over-bath shower, lovely room, with the all imprtant kettle & teabags! Had dinner & pud (lovely) lovely pub gardens, loads of parking, right at the end of a lane, so quiet. Service was EXCELLENT! Spent all night talking to the lovely bar staff - (and they were genuinely lovely) and one of their regulars 'Aled' 😃 Finished the stay with a full cooked breakfast, again, service was excellent.

“This is not only a lovely hotel in a great location. The young team go out of their way in every regard: great, local food in their restaurant, very comfy bed and rooms, and the small things which make a difference: I note for example their sustainability efforts: biscuits and condiments in the room in refillable glasses, same with bathroom stuff (including toilet paper by ‘who gives a crap’), fresh milk in a fridge on the landing - no plastic or waste anywhere. Why can’t all hotels follow? ”
