"Our stay at the Novotel was fantastic, the older rooms are tired and in needing for a upgrade however the grounds and facilities make up for it. The new rooms are beautiful, spacious and worth the extra money. The staff were so helpful and lovely, activities for the kids were thoughtful and well planned. The only downside to this property is the food. The food selection was minimal and there were next to no vegetables offered. You are a 30 min walk to the closest IGA or other cafe so just something to consider if you don't have a car."

"The room at Breakfree was clean, had everything we needed and had a great position just steps from the pool. It was a little dated inside but everything worked and we had plenty of space as two couples with 2 beds and 2 baths. As well as a full kitchen the apartment had a laundry and included some cleaning products, which was really useful. We were arriving after hours but reception gave us clear instructions on where our arrival details would be and there was a note that we needed to visit reception the morning after our arrival to provide our details - which was easy. The free car parking was a great bonus. While the resort is a couple of kms away from central Mooloolaba, it's also a similar distance to the Maroochydore shops so it's easily walkable in either direction. Plus there's lots of places to eat and drink on your doorstep. We really enjoyed our stay here and would happily come back"
