The staff were lovely there was a nice bar. The bathroom, bed and linen were very good and clean. My shower didn't work, I didn't report it as it seemed unlikely to get fixed over the weekend, they were full so another room was unlikely and I really didn't want the hassle of having people trying to work in my room. The TV and Radiator had a lot of dust on them although everything else was fine.
They gave us an accessible room and that was very helpful for my husband. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious. The hotel was in the perfect location for everything we were doing. I was disappointed the breakfast ended at 9 AM it never gave me the opportunity to have it. Night staff said it ended at 10 and it didn't. We requested late check out and paid 20£ for two hours extra time. Unfortunately cleaners were not made aware so they still barged in the morning of and after being up late celebrating a wedding it was rather disappointing. Over all I would recommend staying here for the price we paid it was good overall.

Approximately 10 minutes drive to centre of Bristol and with good parking (£3.50 for 24 hours if staying). Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are very clean and rooms are very large but the hotel could do with some tlc and looking very tired. Ideal however for a short stay
We had requested a ground floor room away from busy areas in the hopes of not being woken up too early. Sadly, this hotel has very thin walls and slamming doors so no such luck.
The bathroom was dirty and in desperate need of refurbishment. The seals around the bath were black in places and the sink was partially blocked so took a very long time to drain. I don't know what had been left in the plug hole but it looked disgusting.
The bed was two singles pushed together, which is never a good sign. The gap between the mattresses was a good few centimeters wide.
Care had not been taken to refill the tea, coffee, sugar and milk properly so we ended up having to ask for more milk and settled for brown sugar in our tea.
Not exactly the worst experience in the world, but if a hotel can't get the basics right, they're failing.
The only redeeming feature was the staff member who checked us in and answered any questions we had.
Beautiful old building with a lovely room that was a really good size. Some things needed a bit of an update but very pleased for what we paid. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble
