"The property is clean and tidy. Management is keeping up - there are always sections of the building under repair or renovation. (We return every other year.) The courtyard, the pool, the beach, the parking areas, the reading loft, the billiard room, the game room, the lobby are pleasant.
There are many curios in the courtyard. We enjoyed our morning and evening strolls there. The grounds are well kept. We also enjoyed paddling on the lake, particularly on a hot summer day.
The staff has always been helpful, cheerful and efficient. Our check-ins were quick.
We stayed on ground level one time. The direct access to the courtyard was fantastic. On a hot day, the ground floor could be slightly cooler than the upper floors. We also stayed in one of the upper lofts with windows on opposite sides providing great air flow and cool air that came over the lake. Despite the lack of air conditioning, our stays had always been OK even at the height of summer. There is plenty of parking. Only once did we have to park at the far end"
"This hotel is recently renovated. I found the amenity beautiful, well equipped, extremely clean, new bed sheets, brand new towels, etc. We will return to this place during the next trip to Kelowna. Thanks to front desk staff for seamless check in/out."
Mountain View Resort and Suites at Fairmont Hot Springs
8/10 Good
"Staff were absolutely amazing. The amenities were great.
The drains were slow, toilet ran 24/7, the windows wouldn’t stay open they slammed shut, blinds were broken."
"This was a last minute booking due to a dental emergency. The team here is great, and once the current renovations are complete I believe the property will also be great. Very convenient location, with Orchard Park Mall directly across the road and several dining options within easy walking distance. Will we stay here again? I would have to say absolutely we will."
