โWe had the most amazing weekend ! Room was very clean and comfortable - great facilities and very convenient for the wedding we were attending at kelham hall. So glad we chose this option to stay at ! Thank you James for a wonderful nights sleep after a very long day ! Great pub next door too !! โ
โWe were looking for a place to put down our heads for a night, after an wedding. Our check in should only have been in the afternoon, but we needed a place to change into our gladrags for the morning part of the occasion and Carol, very kindly got our room ready early in the morning.
Such personal care and seevice has to be highly commended, would definitely recoomend this place and if ever in the area will be looking to stay here.โ
โThereโs not a lot that can be said about Tumbleweed Cottage that hasnโt been said before - really is a rarity to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes from quality of bed and bedding to fabulously prepared fresh breakfast- not my first stay and certainly wonโt be my last !!

โthis hotel is a little surprise. Doesnโt look much from the outside and not helped by being next to a disused building.
However, once you enter it is a very different experience. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.
We had a family room which was very good, though could do with some better quality bed linen. However, it wasnโt bad at all and we had a pleasant nights sleep.

โComfortable quiet stay part of a longer visit to relatives. Room was cosy and ensuite was good fully functioning with lovely shower. Bed was firm but comfortable ,facilities limited but to an acceptable pricepoint

โI had a great stay at Southwell Stays. Very kind owner who communicated well. Very safe and central location in Southwell. Immaculately clean room and bathroom. Huge smart tv to enjoy whilst staying in room. Bonus of microwave and coffee station too. Very enjoyable stayโ
โWe stayed as we are renovating after a house move and the plasterer had taken over the house. It was a welcome break from the daily work of clearing up after tradesmen! The staff were lovely and the food good. We may be back - depending on how things progress at home!โ
โWe always enjoy our stay at the Lawns when we come to Retford to visit family and friends.
The rooms are much bigger than average and there is plenty of wardrobe space.
Lovely big towels and a good supply of hot drinks and bottled water.Extremely good value.โ
