"Breakfast as good as i expected for the price. Nothing cooked, self serve cereals toast etc. Place very clean, decor decent though some odd choices of colour and wallpaper. I would definitely stay again if the price was right. "

"Lovely hotel, large room and really friendly check in. The bed was hideously uncomfortable though, an old, thin mattress that had two dents where people had slept over the years. You could feel every spring. Thin walls with a dog barking all night in the room next door. We didn’t sleep at all. Shame as it is lovely but not what we needed as a stop over before the trip in the tunnel the next day"

"Quick overnight stop before using the tunnel crossing the next morning. Easy check in, decent car park, clean and comfortable, with petrol station a few hundred yards away. Great stay"

"Had a great room at front on top floor with great sea view. Room and hotel were clean. Did not have breakfast. Possibly understaffed. One night we got back at 9:30 and bar was closed. Lift was out Ok for us but was a problem for some other guests. Would probably use again . Hard to choose between this and the nearby voco."
