“What a great hotel, everything we wanted for an overnight stay. Great food and the breakfast was even better - yum.”

There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage).”

“I must say for a 6 to 7 hour journey from Scotland with my partner we loved it such a beautiful place staff were welcoming very helpful and respectful food was incredible and the rooms were absolutely spotless shower was amazing bed was comfy and the television isn’t small either the seating areas are stunning to definitely coming back again thank you to staff for the lovely stay”

“We are not normally in the habit of leaving reviews either of establishments either good or bad; however our experience of a1 night stay on 17th June. we feel needs recording. Opted to book a Delux twin accessible room. The room was across the courtyard from the main pub building. At first sight the room appeared adequate although not particularly appealing. The real problem was the presence of a very powerful unpleasant smell which we thought may disappear once the external door and window...

“We went to fakenham races and then spent 2 days at Walsingham. Nice warm room where we could watch the passing interesting people. The food was not amazing but edible.”

“The bedroom was lovely and clean, up 2 sets of stairs. Very close to the pub. But the Fethers pub is very dated. The bar/restaurant is a collection of old, marked furniture. Great location in the centre of Holt with friendly staff. Struggled to get parking as it felt like a few other people were using the car park, not just guests.”

“The grounds and pool were absolutely amazing, we even used the boat on the lake. Gardens and grounds beautifully maintained so pretty just to walk around. We had a lovely relaxing time.”

“Plenty of parking available and easy to find. Staff were friendly and breakfast was nice, however our room had a strong smell of dog and wasn’t the cleanest. Areas of the pub look like they need a freshen up and they definitely need to hoover the hallways more as there was plenty of dog hair everywhere! Probably wouldn’t stay again for this reason.”
