"Good very reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Andong. It's a bit dated but the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Don't be put off by the dark corridors and gaudiness - it's excellent for the price and would definitely stay here again. Great location for restaurants, shops and public transport to the main rail and bus terminals. Taxis are cheap and easy to find - cost to the main railway station was 10000 won."

"Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, visiting the UNESCO listed Hahoe Historical village. Hotel is very clean and beds are comfortable. Staff at hotel reception were EXTREMELY helpful. When I had trouble booking for my onward bus/train journeys on line, they took time to help me book all my onward journeys !! In particular, I would like to thank these 2 staff : Ms Won Young Jung and Ms Lee Da Dam who went out of their way to help me with my booking !! Well Done to the management for recruiting such excellent "Customer Focus" staff !! Thank You !! There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance from the hotel. Hahoe Historical Village is only 15mins taxi ride. I would strongly recommend my friends and family to stay in this hotel should they visit Andong, Korea !! "

"We stayed in the suite, with traditional sitting room and modern bathroom. Really enjoyed the stay in the traditional Korean house. If budget allowed, highly recommend you to stay in the suite. It is as good as the pictures in the website."

"A very lovely traditional house with a long history. It’s so peaceful and quiet just sitting outside our room overlooking a river, living out of a K drama. The property is very well run by a descendent of the Ryu clan. The owner, Seunghwan is a young gentleman who speaks excellent English, hospitable and has eye for details. We stayed for 2 nights and didn’t have a car. He drove us to the village upon check in and fetch us to the bus terminal upon check out. We enjoyed the daily traditional breakfast cooked by a Ajumma. Although there is no en-suite, the toilet is very modern and each guesthouse has their own dedicated toilet. Do stay here with an open mind, immersed yourself in the josun era and enjoy the simplicity. "

"Located close to train / bus station, what first seems to be located in an industrial zone but is actually very quiet and peaceful, the staff were very friendly and a nice calm area to sit down and relax in the cafe / library area. The place was very clean and well looked after and the rooms were spacious. If I had to pick one thing it would be the cleaning lady banging her duster on the metal railings at 0700 each morning, but overall I would highly recommend this place, I had a very pleasant stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The owner was lovely and very helpful, organizing taxis to take us to see all the sights we wanted to see. He welcomed us on arrival and waved us off as we left. I highly recommend staying at this house for a true Korean experience. "

"The hotel was easy to find, and just off a main bus route. It is a little out of town, but easy to get to and from. Check in was efficient, though there was very little information given. The room was very spacious and clean, and the bathroom was good. Although it had no door and therefore water did not stay in the cubicle, it was nice that it had a separate shower space. The hotel design had tiny windows and it had also been covered with faux-stained glass. This meant there wasn't much natural light. In general, the room lighting was also not as good as it could have been: it was very dark around the bed. We had to ask about breakfast, which was included. According to our booking information, this was supposed to be from 8-9am in the hotel's own cafe. However, they informed us it was 7-8am, which we felt was much too early. This was especially so once we actually came to eat - the breakfast was one of the worst we've ever had in a hotel. It felt like they were trying to make it so early and so poor that people didn't bother to get up for it. Only cereal, toast and jam, raw eggs (and no offer to cook them), cheap ramen pots and coffee from a machine, even though the cafe had proper coffee making facilities. We requested butter on the first day, and they had none. They didn't bother to get any for the second either. Overall, it is a reasonable hotel for a short stay, but I would recommend not including breakfast. It would be nice if some information was provided in English."
