"Such a cool experience! Loved the historical character of this room, with a bit of a modern vibe. We got there quite late so had a remote check in which worries me a bit but it was easy and not worth the worry. Location - excellent!"

If I come back to Lucca I would stay here again, I was very happy with the room, the staff, and the lovely breakfasts (especially the cappuccinos!) The train station is close enough to walk but I would reccomend a cab if you have more than one small carry on you can carry on your shoulder. Don't miss going to the historic city center after dark."

"Le Dimore del Borgo is just on the outskirts of Lucca, 5min walk and you enter the walls of Lucca. Parking at the hotel is limited, about 10ish cars in total directly at the back of the hotel in an off street secure parking lot. The hotel reception is not staffed 24-7. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with cooking facilities and dining table. The bathroom was very clean. There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel, but breakfast is available if booked in advance (I believe it is served to the room). It is very well located, safe to walk in the neighborhood and a good location to explore Lucca from. They have a very nice small dog 🐶that is at reception in the morning."

Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."
