"I love the hostel. It is right next to the Atocha train station (there is a back route to the train station to avoid the busy intersection). I stayed at a dorm for four women. Room is clean and quiet (4th floor). The bed is steady with two USA plugs and personal light), which is very convenient details. The staff were very nice and helpful. I left for Toledo for one night and had difficulty locating a storage place. Luis and Milien were very helpful to allow me to store my luggage overnight for free that I don’t have to haul my luggage away and back for another two nights. That was huge help. One thing concerning is the lock. One morning when I was to leave and found out the door is not locked after the previous one left. I studied the lock and found out that the bolt is quite sensitive that it popped after the door touches the frame but not fully closed quickly, which ended up stop the door from being fully closed. It might help to remind all guests to pull the dock quickly and firmly to make sure the door is fully locked before they leave. Other than that, my Latroupe Prado stay had been great. I have two more nights. Hopefully they are as great!!"

"Very relaxing hotel in La Latina district which is only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Madrid. Close to all attractions. Staff very helpful and willing to engage. Great breakfast with plenty of selection. The rooftop pool was most welcome with the 34 degree temperatures. Will definitely be back."

"A sparkling new hotel in a fabulous location in central Madrid! Urban Hive has a very fun vibe, gorgeous views of the city from the rooftop pool, and some very creative amenities, including refillable Brita water bottles, and a workout mat and small weights in the room. Comfy bed, and I had a huge tub in my room which was incredible -- though the shower/tub knobs are confusing and ill-placed and the drain plug is a puzzle (need written directions). But overall, a really wonderful hotel! Most notably, the front desk staff and housekeeping staff were absolutely superb -- so smart, kind and helpful. Now that I've solved the mystery of the drain plug, I'll be back!"
