“The room was ok. it was very hot but it had a fan which without was unbearable to sleep even with the window open and the road traffic. Air conditioning would be nice. Ironing board with no iron not very helpful. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok.”

“Lovely old building. Nice bathtub. Lots of parking. Staff were very helpful n friendly. Excellent breakfast. Lidl is right across the road.”

“We stayed here for one night to break up a long journey to the Lake District. I can’t fault the hotel. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Parking was free, and there’s a McDonald’s just across the road. Breakfast was simple but good, and the staff were very friendly. We’ll be back for sure.”

“Had a very pleasant short break at the conaught hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Definitely stay there again. A nice place, thank you 😊 ”

“Received an email around 3 hours before we were due to check in the booking had been cancelled. We were en-route. Called the number on the email (which was a third party - not Hotels.com). Advised the booking had been cancelled due to 'maintenance' and to contact Hotels.com directly make an alternative booking. Attempted to contact Hotels.com but could not get to speak to a human being to make an alternative booking. We were left high and dry!”

“We booked the apartment in August 2023 so the family could attend a music event which was local to apartment. On the day of Travel 26th April 2024 the booking was cancelled via email.. No phone call to warn us but an alternative 30+ miles away was offered in the email. Unfortunetly many other people have fallen fowl to this sort of approach due to many hotels being sold out and high prices starting to appear due to both the music event and a Wolves home football game. Many hotels coming back up...

“Absolutely seamless from booking to leaving. Great communication from manager Jay. Be aware that there is only 2 parking spaces on the front of the property, but on street parking is available. Room and kitchen were clean and tidy. Great place to stay would thoroughly recommend. The Alma Inn public house is a 7 minute drive away, it has an Indian restaurant attached to the pub, highly recommend the food, great selection and choice.”

“Staff was wonderful. Stayed on a night of racing which led to things being fairly loud until 10pm. Great location though.”

“Stayed here during the summer, breakfast was great, we were given a menu and a choice of continental selection. Breakfast cooked fresh so we booked again. Sadly this time we were greeted with a breakfast buffet which wasnt the same. Therefore we would not be in a rush back, hopefully the cook will ge brought back ”
