Best of both worlds! We spent a day in Carlsbad, NM and a day at the Caverns and didn't have to use two motels: this is right at the entrance road to the Caverns and has a fine restaurant and gas station nearby. The manager was a delightful lady who was helpful in making our stay pleasant. Great location, great staff, great place to stay!

It’s an old motel but it’s very clean, not updated but all the necessities are there and location wise it’s perfect for the Guadeloupe mountains and calsbad caverns national parks. Staff is very helpful

Overall a nice stay, room was clean and beds comfortable and reasonably priced. The hotel offers a light breakfast (muffins, cereal and fruit) . The Cactus cafe next door is an option for breakfast or lunch but has a very limited menu and hours it closes at 3pm. The hotel advertises a pool and water park but it has never been up and running when we've stayed. We drove into Carlsbad for dinners which is about a 25 minute drive. The hotels location is great for visiting Carlsbad caverns and Guadalupe Moutains National Park.

Basic room very convenient to Carlsbad. Cant think of any glaring down sides. I would definatley stay again. Very minimal services and the resturauant is closed some days so make sure you have what you need before you stop. The store accross the street was very handy.
