The hosts were very kind since the moment we arrived. The rooms were very cozy and extremely clean. Home made English breakfast was also very good. The only major issue we faced was the room didn't have blackouts and there was a street light next to one of the window. My wife couldn't sleep with all the light. For me it was fine... Hope to return soon.

The Ees Wyke is a true country inn with magnificent grounds and views of the countryside and lake. We stayed in the Lilac room which was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The public spaces, i.e. living room and dining room, were beautifully maintained and elegantly appointed. The breakfast buffet was abundant and included a choice of specially prepared hot menu items, all of high quality and expertly prepared by the proprietor/chef. We also took advantage of booking dinner...

After a busy week exploring Scotland, my boyfriend and I decided to make a stop for a couple of day in the quiet town of Windermere to get some rest and relaxation before continuing onto our busy adventures down in London. Jericho was just what we needed. The entire place was beautifully decorated and very very well kept. Our room was so cozy (but spacious) and luxurious--I probably could have just moved in. Oh and don't even get me started about the breakfasts! They serve up a WONDERFUL...

Perfect stay! The inn is lovely and cozy owned by a wonderful couple who made me feel right at home. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced. They even agreed to store my baggage for several days while I hiked in the region. Can’t recommend enough!!

Small unique B&B property in the English Lake District near Lake Windermere. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the village. Beautiful garden in front yard. Relatively small room, but very comfortable, including the four-poster bed!

Beautifully kept and spacious rooms. Owners were very pleasant and communication was top notch. Highly recommend and will make sure to stay here the next time we are in Bowness.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. The owners are wonderful people and help you feel at home. I would definitely stay here again.

Really nice place, with very nice owners who were friendly and helpful, good location, nice room in this well maintained guest house, and nice breakfast menu, including a full English breakfast (additional cost). Parking is on the street in this residential neighborhood and could be tricky if no spaces are available, although I didn't have that problem. Very happy with the place. I'd certainly stay there again. Thanks to Richard and Paula, the owners

Very well mainted hotel room with upgraded finishes throughout. It was a small room with only the countertop near the foot of the bed to put our bags. We moved the coffeepot and in room ameneties off the countertop so we could fit each of our suitcases. It was a tight fit. But the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet

Glenn and Susann were lovely hosts who showed us great hospitality. The bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was skillfully cooked to order, full of options and served with great attention. We enjoyed our stay at Storrs Gate House during our time in the Lake District.

It was relaxing. The spa bathroom with steam room was great. Also the patio area with the plants and other decorations made it enjoyable and relaxing.

Lovely stay in an even lovelier setting. Conveniently located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We arrived not knowing that this little village was used as the setting of the current “All Creatures Great and Small” television series but we can see why the producers selected the location. As for the B&B, the room had the most comfortable bed we had ever experienced, a modern bathroom, and two of the friendliest hosts you will ever meet. My wife always had their full Yorkshire...

We loved the historic feel to the property, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. As long as you understand this property is hundreds of years old, you will be in for a unique stay. Very quiet location, we loved it.

It’s important to note that there is actually no One to help on property. It’s a secured entrance with keypad and a 24 hour phone service to help if needed. We did not find that to be an issue. The rooms were clean and roomy, and amenities in room were very nice (iron, refrigerator, hair dryer). Location to the city square was absolutely perfect! Literally a 3 minutes walk. We will return to this hotel and definitely stay longer! 2 thumbs up!!
