โMy husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. The rooms, the luxurious touches, the service, the thoughtful design, the food, the ammenities--all perfection. No detail was overlooked. Everyone on the staff greeted us by name. Their car service was able to take...
โPerfect location for the Orioles game! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was hardy and they were on top of refilling the coffee, which is of course the most important part of breakfast. We were on the second floor and so it was a bit noisy outside at night after the game (to be expected in this area) but if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room on a higher floor. Shout out to the valet crew who were hustling like crazy to get everyone...
โWe truly enjoyed our stay and would chose to stay there again. Our only advice is to please have some free coffee available in the lobby, an try to improve the breakfast at the restaurant on site - that was not a good experience (actually was a pretty bad experience) on what is an otherwise superb hotel!โ
โThe room was nice, the other tenants we ran into were also pleasant. We got to meet the owners husband, he was contracting someone to fix a banister and got it done that same day. The location is good and close a lot of fun stuff, like museums and some nice food and bars. The bathrooms were clean and people staying were good with cleaning up after themselves. The room floor was a little dirty, but we found a broom and cleaned it up when we arrived. โ
โThis hotel was excellent. I will definitely stay again. Very clean, excellent staff and the breakfast was delicious with great options. The only thing I wish I knew before was the hotel parking is the valet and not the garage next door. The valet is cheaper than the garage. Within walking distance of the inner harbor for shops and food. Also, close enough to walk to the ball fields (reason for my stay). โ
โThe one bedroom was exactly what my husband and I needed while we stayed in the area for an event at the horseshoe Casino. We were able to find scooters to get to the casino and it was a great location, but because of safety concerns in the general area we elected to uber home. Definitely not the greatest of neighborhoodsโฆ but for what we needed it was fine! โ
