"This older property suffers from substantial deferred maintenance and a desire to cut costs. Two examples are unscrewed (not missing) lightbulbs above the bathroom sink and a shower that would not turn on. There was absolutely no water. I acknowledge this is a 2 star propoerty, however, the low price does not offset the inconvenience. "
"The staff were all great. Elizabeth, front desk, was very friendly & helpful in every way. i had booked 3 rooms for a wedding weekend with more people incoming. She handled everyone with great care.(Psst, give that girl a raise). The hotel is older so dont expect new & flashy. Our rooms, the beds. etc were just fine & we loved having 4 pillows per bed. Breakfast was "c I ntinent "
"Yes parking was right in front of your room. Pet friendly. Owners are great, Debbie went out of her way to make sure everything was good. There still working on the property because of Hurricane Helene & Milton. We felt safe & comfortable. It's an older Florida style motel. We will go back nxt year."
"Would not stay here again. Room was filthy had to be moved to yet another filthy room. No hot water. No lock on bathroom. Drawer broken wont close. Bed so noisy couldnt sleep. Lighting bad couldnt see. Pillows so small. NOT exaggerating the room was dusquisting. "
"We booked a stay at Black Prong Resort for my husband’s birthday and it could not have been more perfect. The property is stunning and so peaceful—exactly what we needed to slow down and enjoy the weekend. It felt private, cozy, and really special. We made some great memories here and can’t wait to come back!"
"I love this property for its simplicity. Perfect little get away cottages. The pool area is nice, the rooms clean and comfy. The Lollipop Cafe attached has fantastic food at reasonable prices. "
