"This is the nicest La Quinta Inn we have stayed in. We travel with our dog and many times the "pet" rooms are substandard and downright dirty. That was not the case here. It was a very nice room. We stayed on the first floor which was convenient for taking the dog outside. We have stayed at this location a couple of times. This time there was some type of air freshener that permeated the lobby area which is fine. However, the scent was also present in our room. I kept waking up during the night due to the scent and lost sleep because of it. I have a strong sense of smell and hate air fresheners, etc. It probably would not bother most people, but when we pass through again I may call ahead to see if there is a way to have a room that does not use the air freshener. If not, I don't think I can stay here again which is a shame because everything else from the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness in general are very nice."
