Everything is original from around 150 years ago. The room we stayed in was gorgeous! And the mattress was so comfortable! The little town is full of history. Absolutely perfect place to stay if you’re a hiker, 4 x 4 adventurer or 2 old ladies. I would say it’s the favorite place that we’ve ever stayed in all of our very long lives. ...

“While compact, our room was very well appointed and clean. It was nice to get breakfast. The other guests were very courteous. I really like the biking vibe and the art from the nearby Colorado National Monument. We could only stay one night on a two night reservation because of health reasons. We were pleased they credited us the second night. We will definitely stay there again when visiting the area.”

“The Riverwood Resort is a small, but conveniently located hotel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately our experience was disrupted by a water / sewer problem impacting the hotel building. Staff reacted promptly and were accommodating, Since we chose to move to another hotel, we received a prompt refund for the second night of our 2 night stay.”
