“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“What a great place to stay when in ATL. It's in Inman Park area, beautiful neighborhood, lots of parkland as well as restaurants and shopping.The property itself is in excellent condition (considering it's over 150 years old). Get the Royal Suite if you can.”

“Ingrid and Claude, the proprietors, were delightful, friendly, and available for questions or needs or conversation without being intrusive. The property was immaculately clean and all efforts had been made to keep the guests' needs and wants met. We probably will stay at Pleasanton again and we heartily recommend it!! ”

“Owners were so nice to spend time with. Excellent breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns and home made biscuits and strawberry/fig jam. Arrival had warm home made cookies prepared.”
