It was a really nice place to stay while traveling. Easily accommodated two adults and four young kids. Our dog was also pleased there was a sizable grass area to stretch her legs after traveling all day. The inside of the cabin was well decorated. Very modern interior. I highly recommend staying at Choctaw Hall. Not only is the property beautiful, but also the owners are gracious, welcoming, hospitable, and fun. They instantly made me feel at home... if my home was furnished with museum quality historical decorations. 10 out of 10. I wish we were able to stay longer.

Communication with Tanya, the proprietor, was wonderful. We met her during our stay, and she is delightful, the definition of Southern hospitality! The Duff Green Mansion was built in 1856! Duff Green Mansions history is very rich and the staff will be glad to share it with you! The charm of this B&B is second to none! The tour of the Mansion is after a fine breakfast and it is full of surprises.

I happened upon this place while searching online and liked that it was a more primitive place than the the large mansion b&b's. This cottage housed the editor of the newspaper during the Seige of Vicksburg, and had given up its wallpaper to use for printing the paper when the town was being starved of supplies. Excellent accommodations, clean, quiet and spacious with easy access to hwy, Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Our TV would not turn on and the same person that checked us in answered our call and came right up to fix it. In the morning for bkfst servers offered to make special omelet not on the display and brought out to table when ready. Highly recommend

I knew I'd chosen right when we walked in the door to our room and my wife said "Oh, wow!" It was very clean all through the room, the hallways-every place you went was spotless and shiny. The bed was so comfortable we wanted to take it home. Pillows were arranged hard to soft and extras were bagged up in the closet.
