"I liked the location and atmosphere of the hotel. It was an old style mansion with very walkable access to all the main attractions. Including the Zocalo and the great Pyramid. Next to it was q very nice jazz club. Recommend it for travelers wanting to experience the authentic magic of this little town and have access to all the sites."

"I’m disappointed with this property because it has so much potential to be great. One can easily tell that owners haven’t been investing money back into the property. I am very unsatisfied with the ‘suite’ that I booked, it was more than twice the price of a regular room and only advantage it truly had was more square feet. "We felt so well cared for at La Palomilla...it was like spending a long weekend in someone's home. The rooms are cozy but beautifully designed and laid out and, in our case, comfortably accommodated two people and two small dogs. The included breakfast is a delight, and so are all the people at La Palomilla. Can't recommend it enough..it's a comfy haven in a very big city. And the neighborhood could not be better!"
