"This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "

" Second time and 4 days at this hotel. The staff is wonderful, breakfast is too notch, secure parking across the street is great. This time the bed was not so comfortable so I dropped the score a little. "

"Well located for SJO airport with free shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Staff were polite and helpful. Check-in process was very efficient. Rooms are clean and spacious with good air conditioning."
