โA short walk from the bus and train stations, this hotel has an old look but was well updated. Its several covered public seating areas were charming. It's an easy bus ride to the old part of town and an easy walk to a grocery store. A lucky find!โ

โThis place was one of the most comforting places I stayed in my 3 week tripa cross Spain. Alex was incredibly kind and helpeful with recommendations. My room was just so cool architecturely, and the AC was amazing in the summer. Ful kitchen and bathroom and everything, along with a super cozy bedroom. Amazing location and even free breakfast.โ
โWe were actually accommodated at a different property at last minute due to a problem in our room that could not be fixed in time. Communication about the change was effective and helpful.
Alternative accommodation was excellent but not quite as well located as Casa San Mateo. โ
โIt was so very convenient to stay here, especially over New Yearโs because the festivities were happening right up the street. The beds were super comfortable, the courtyard attractive, and the view from our window really sweet. I wouldnโt say it was the most sound-proof but if you have ear plugs or are a sound sleeper it isnโt a problem. The corridors are cool at night but the heat worked well to keep us comfy in the room. You couldnโt ask for a better location. โ
