"Reception staff was very helpful over the phone to find the Hotel. Private parking very safe and easy to access with a large car. Check in speedy and smiling. The room on the first floor (as requested). Lock in the door close not to accept the key. Had to fight hard to get in and out. Room large enough but needs renovation as i.e the wall paper hangs out its last days. Bathroom needs to be fixed especially the shower and the water running under the door. We hope we got the worst but expected to get the best."

"Attractive 19 century chateau with good parking on site. But the car park covering is gravel and clay which is very messy when wet. The room while spacious was an obvious and not very attractive carve up or a grand room. Excellent and very helpful and friendly receptionist. Very reasonable price. Would stay again."
