"It was ok."

"The shower head in the room we had needs to be fixed. There was only 1 option for it to work (shooting straight out as hard as possible). When I checked out I was going to tell the front desk person but the 2 girls behind the desk were talking and just wanted my keys. Didn’t ask how my stay was or anything. The breakfast was okay - the biscuits and gravy were cold, we had to warm them up in the microwave. It was nice to have scrambled eggs and sausage though. "

"Room was very clean and cozy, especially the bathroom, which was absolutely spotless. I had a unique situation where I was in need of a place to stay for rehearsals and a concert at the Clay Center, and I am extremely grateful to the front desk staff who were very accommodating with my under-21 check-in. Very well kept hotel, and only a short drive from downtown Charleston (Clay Center, mall, Convention Center, etc.). If I ever need to stay overnight in Charleston again this hotel would definitely be at the top of my list."

"Easy to get to and in to check and park . Quick smooth check in. Room was ready clean and comfortable. Good place to stay for concert if attending venue is located right across street. Very nice breakfast bar. Would definitely stay again. "

"The window covering/shade was broken. That wouldn’t be a problem except for the industrial strength outdoor lights shining into my room at 2:30 am. I was able to rig up a system to shut some of the ambient light out but the shade should have been fixed before we arrived. If I show up 6 months from now, I don’t expect it will be fixed then, either. "

"My room was not huge but it was very clean and perfect for one, with a queen bed that was very comfortable and a nice large well-lit shower with great water pressure. This motel has just been totally remodeled and it looks great. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. My only issue is there aren't any restaurant options nearby; I had to get back on the interstate to find a place for dinner. "
