โA tastefully and comfortably modernised pub in a somewhat downbeat village near the M1 and airport but surprisingly quiet. The M1 is white noise in the background. I couldn't hear the planes. Rooms in the pub's grounds were comfortable with parking right outside and the food was amazing, including breakfast. No soggy mushrooms! If I was a lone female traveller I would feel particularly safe here. Very happy that we broke our journey overnight and will definitely do so again. โ
โStayed here many times for work and also had a good stay. The food in the restaurant is exceptional and staff always happy to help. Will continue to come back. โ
โLovely hotel with a great outdoor area. I stayed solo as I had a spa day locally the following day, was a great single room and would definitely stay again. โ
โEnjoyed the stay just was a little bit noisy around 10:30pm due to other residents returning to their room. Also we had a room with an adjoining door which allowed noise from next door to he audibleโ
โFriendly staff with great rooms and good food. Plus a perfect pint. You would have difficulty finding anywhere better to stay. Very quiet and peaceful village. First class. Thank you for the stay. โ
โWe stayed one night with our grandkids in a family room. Staff at check in were great - really helpful and friendly. Kids loved being able to use the pool. Breakfast was very good - fresh and plenty of vegan options. Although the room was a little dated it was clean and the beds were super comfortable. โ
