"We were going to an event at the Centre Bell, and this was absolutely a perfect experience. I can’t say enough wonderful things about every staff member in this hotel, we cannot wait to plan a return stay when we can explore the city longer. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in."

"great location, seemed a little sus at night but close to everything. room was nice and big, good condition. bed was a little hard though. microwave downstairs in the lobby is available until 11pm at night. was able to drop off my bag early. will stay again!"

"Everything was good about my stay at ruby foo’s the best accommodation I’ve stayed at during my travels through the USA and Canada, they let me check in early even though I was more than 2 hours ahead of scheduled check in time, room was big and spacious, added bonus was there was a purified water station just outside my room, room servicing was great, fresh towels, clean sheets every day, breakfast next door was good and had gluten free options which suited me well, location isn’t downtown there is a metro station a few minutes away which will get you there in 20 minutes"

"On a recent trip where we stayed at 10 different hotels, The Birk was our best experience and can be justified as 5 stars, which very few can. The room was clean (of course) and the bathroom a god size including a proper shower without the need to climb in and out of a bath. It's hard to find a better location in Montreal, with easy walking distance to the subway, bus, or train to get you to your venue of choice. A major shopping centre is on its doorstep, as well as a significant range of top-quality cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended. Not cheap, but since when was true 5-star cheap!"
