"Rooms are spotless clean & comfortable. The Congo Rapids mini golf is fantastic. Pool is OK but in my opinion needs a bit of refresh.
Staff at the reception are pleasant & helpful. The restaurant however is a big let down. We had lunch, dinner & breakfast ..the food is just OK, all members of staff look like they are wondering what you are doing there; not unpleasant, just not interested at all. In all fairness though there was one young lady at breakfast time who was friendly and helpful."
"Great place spotless, I could not make breakfast time as needed too leave early so they put up a fantastic meal pack with 2 x large sandwiches with crisps biscuits and fruit ."
"The hotel was lovely, rooms nice and location convenient. But the best part of the stay was the lovely lady on reception. She went above and beyond. So so friendly which you don’t always get. Would make me recommend this hotel purely based on the staff member."
"On site parking was a huge bonus although a car park was very close by.
Chudleigh is the most charming Guest House with a warm welcome.
My room was very spacious, the bed was huge with beautifully laundered bedding & was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom was superb & all the little extras in the room were just perfect.
Pure quality food & amazing choice at Breakfast.
Definitely staying here again!!"
"We had a very last minute booking, but the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The room was good and spacious, located in the annex, it did not have bath, but we were OK with the shower. The food is good, the breakfast was lovely, however continental part has no porridge and no cheese/charcuterie, just corn and other flakes and bread and jam and some small pastries.
Beautiful location, building, good and comfy beds and good service"
"Another nice stay at the Kingscliff Hotel. Easy check in - with a very helpful Italian lady - friendly and efficient. Parking at the rear of the hotel (included if you are a guest). Enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant. Good selection of food.
Hotel room very nice with a good shower.
The only negative for me was I arrived back at the hotel after a night out in Frinton at 10:15 and went to the bar for a gin and tonic as a night cap. I was informed by the barman that they had cashed the tills and I couldn't have a drink despite me being a guest. A bit disappointing."
