“We liked the room it was big and functional, clean and tidy. The only downside is if you are unlucky with other guests who don’t care about those around them like the couple above us. That of course is not a reflection on the property, which has lovely grounds and a really nice pub for food a 3 minute walk away. Parking is also very good and we would come back again. I would say pillows are a bit hard but apart from that great stay and worth the money ”

“We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. Very easy to check in and out and you get the option to use the spa and gym facilities as adults. “This trip was really nice, great accommodation, spacious suite. Best cooked breakfast I’ve had in a long, long time. Quality ingredients, would have liked a firm favourite, black pudding with it but didn’t spoil things. Hosts great about paying locally for my son and grandson to have breakfast with us too. “This is my 2nd time staying at the Station Lodge. You can't beat the price, the location and both times I've stayed I had nice large rooms. It's literally across the street from the train station, and as this is the last stop on the train you literally don't hear any sounds from the train. AND the trailhead for the Orett trail is also literally across the street. This trail spiders out to many other trails. There are a ton of restaurants, shops, pubs and the awesome grocery store with a cafe...
