It is a quaint place to stay. It is clean and well maintained. It is older but that is part of its charm.

The lake views and little beach were perfect during sunset. Staff was super friendly. The room was cute but a little dated. The faucets could use a bit of an upgrade and although we had a big tub in the room it took forever to fill. The four poster bed looked good but when you lean on it I was worried it was going to break. But all that said it was magical random night where I needed a place last minute.
Just about an 8 minute drive into town go eat at Taqueria Jalos - it's awesome.
I would stay here again.
Overall, not bad. The in-room spa is very comfortable. The area could be more windy compared to the area's average. One issue is, there is a resort fee, not included in the room fee. Can't believe a motel-style place need a resort fee?
The property by the lake was beautiful. They let us use the facilities after check-out, which we really appreciated. The staff member was very kind and welcoming. The place was clean, there was ice available, and they provided us with hot water.
The only downside was the beds. Our room had two beds, and both of them were very noisy. It was quite uncomfortable to sleep because every time you moved or turned over, the beds squeaked loudly. I would recommend replacing the beds, as they were both uncomfortable and noisy.
The lake view was quiet and peaceful. Easy to see that the Lodge did have

The rooms are very clean and well insulated. Beds were comfortable. This is an older resort showing its wear but they have kept the rooms modern and nice. The manager was a hoot. We had a great time with her (Barbara).
Would definitely stay there again

I stayed at Blue Lakes Lodge for 3 nights. The staff member was helpful upon check-in. The lake was beautiful and scenic. The room was relatively clean; however, the beds were not the most comfortable and bedding had some noticeable stains. Additionally, the shower and sink in the bathroom were slow to drain.
This place is horrible now. They charge for everything when it comes to amenities - Im surprised AC was not put on my bill. Ridiculous! Hot tub was broken, TV didn't work, $10 for two hours of PROPANE, electric boats dying in the middle of the lake (TWO DAYS in row) battery NOT charged fully - but the audacity to still be rented out.....and NO REFUNDS OR COMPENSATIONS. Definitely wont be back.
Our Room was perfect. We stayed a couple nights and days. It was quiet. The Blue Lakes were beautiful. We rested very well. Upper Lake was only 5 miles out so we could go get a bite, or the little grocery store was handy
The grounds were beautiful. There were paddle boards, kayaks, pedal power water bikes, & pontoon boats for rent. Too bad the swiming pool wasn't up and running. Or bed was super comfy.
There's BBQ'S, WE FISHED, There are some nice bass in this lake too. Pet friendly, TV, microwave & small fridge and dining table. The lake was gorgeous. Miss Barbara runs the Lodge for new owners. I loved her! Tough on people trying big
to act a fool. Warm, wonderful & accommodating. She will be an invaluable asset to the Lodge at Blue Lakes.
Thank you, Miss Barbara and your friendly and hard working crew!!!!
We are looking forward to coming back, sooner than later!!!!
Loved visiting the Lodge at Blue Lakes! 💙
Only thing missing was gas for the fire pit and the ice machine was broken.
Otherwise, it was so peaceful and enjoyable!
Fabulous swimming spot!
