Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes
10/10 Excellent
"Super clean hotel with helpful staff! Holiday weekend was full of kids activities & family activities. Although they were sold out, the pool area never felt over crowded. The pool side service was phenomenal and the quality of the food was great! We had a great time & will definitely be back!"
"Stayed one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, especially considering the price point. I already had a headache before arriving, and the first room had an extremely strong bleach odor that immediately made it worse. Even a staff member acknowledged how strong the smell was. I requested a room change, which the front desk accommodated, but later that evening I discovered dried blood stains on the bedding in the second room. At that point, since I was checking out early the next morning, I chose not to switch rooms again.
The staff was polite, and the location is great, but cleanliness and room quality are extremely important to me, especially at over $400/night. I expected a much better experience."
"Check in staff not very friendly. Room was very clean upon arrival. I wish they still offered daily housekeeping but the staff was very prompt if anything was needed. Love the amenities per usual. I think the management should get a better handle on advertisements for take out being left on guest doorstep. They were scattered all over the hallways. Would stay again but please give better customer service training to front desk."
"I only stayed one night because I had to catch a flight the next day. The hotel itself has potential. There are a lot of activities for the guests and families. The room (furniture) was a bit outdated and needs new linen. Overall the hotel needs to be renovated."
"We stayed at the Patricia Grand resort for 5 days in May, 26 to celebrate our anniversary and bday
Check in: Check in was easy. They gave us 2 key cards for the room and 3 key cards for pool towels. I think they need a better system for getting pool towels I stood in line for 30 min to get towels.
The rooms: The rooms were small and very cramped. There were no rooms available for upgrade. The ventilation was poor. The bathroom door was difficult to close. Our room flooded and we had to move to a higher floor. We didnt like moving our stuff a second time i was enjoying the beach on the day of our anniversary and had to come back to move a second time.. We never received an apology from management
Restaurant: The 1st day we ate at the restaurant downstair. The food was delicious and the service was great
A little pricey though. We paid 70.00 + for 3 people.
The view: The oceanfront view was great. I didnt like moving to the 11th floor
Staff: Staff were generally friendly. No room service available. We had to take out our trash and Go to front desk to get extra towels.
Pools: They had indoor pools, outdoor pools and hot tubs. They also had a lazy river .The door entering the pool was difficult to open.
Would i stay here again: Probably not. The rooms were to small. No apology from management. If my husband, would not have come back to the room, our belongings would have gotten wet
Parking: The parking was across the street. The parking deck was tight.
Overall fa"

"The valet staff were so welcoming and helpful every day during our stay. We stayed for 5 nights. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful.
We loved our room. We were on the 26th floor. I absolutely love no one can go up the elevator without a room key. I also loved that the door of the hotel has a door stopped for extra safety.
We loved the activity room and the different activities scheduled throughout the day. This hotel is very family oriented and is setup with customers’ safety in mind.
The entire hotel was clean and comfortable. We loved the pool. It had life jackets and towels available near the pool. There’s also a bar near the pool. I loved the Starbucks on the second floor the most!"
