โThis is a beautiful and lovingly restored facility in every respect. It has been tastefully updated. It is in a great setting, right on Main Street Cedar Falls. The staff is excellent. The only minus is parking. Overlook that and book, it's a fabulous hotel with lots of character.โ
โI had to ask for a different room because it was smelly and the sheets are dirty. The personnel was very kind though to replace the room to a cleaner one.โ
โFriendly staff, decent breakfast. Not too many choices but enough to fill our bellies. Clean room. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Easy access from the interstate. Close to shopping and plenty of places to eat. โ
โThe outdoor seating area was marvelous. They were hosting 2-3 large events, the parking lots were overflowing in front but there was disabled parking close enough at a back door. Despite the large parties it was quiet and nice. The parties were held on the opposite side of the hotel. I was impressed. โ
โIt is what is advertised, and that deserves a good rating. The place is very clean and well maintained. I didn't come for frills or a pool, just a clean room for a night.โ
โWe had a king plus sofa bed and it was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was also excellent - lots of selections of hot and cold. โ
