My husband and I decided to get away for a long weekend and this was the perfect spot! So many things to love (the room, breakfast, arcade, pool) but the best thing about our stay were our hosts!!!! They were so kind and welcoming. When we first arrived we got a tour and then a glass of wine to enjoy by the pool. I have celiac so they made sure that I had gluten free options for breakfast. It was a fantastic stay and we plan on visiting again in the very near future!!

We had an amazing time and will definitely be returning in the future. The location was great and our room was so charming. We had a blast in the game room and breakfast was wonderful. My husband and I highly recommend Colonial Plaza.

What an amazing property! The owners were both friendly and accommodating. I did come during the offseason so the food choices around the area were limited due to them being closed. I stayed in the James Monroe suite and it was wonderful. The bed could have been a little bit softer but not too bad overall. Breakfast was amazing!

The property and staff services were excellent. One improvement would have been to include an in-room or master bathroom instead of a separate room in the shared hallway. A second improvement would be the addition of a luggage or passenger lift to the second floor quarters.

Misunn and Dave are excellent hosts. Very warm and friendly. Their conversation, cooking and helpful suggestions made the weekend very enjoyable. The house is neat and clean, with a nice small pool in the back (very well kept). They are a short walk to the main shopping area and are only 1/2 a block from the beach. The town is pretty quiet so if you are looking for nightlife this might not be for you. But if you want to relax and enjoy a pleasant weekend with wonderful hosts then I would recommend staying with Misunn and Dave.

Staff was in a rush, a bit sharp in conversation. No "drink upon arrival" as advertised. They didn't provide a robe/ person. We were short one robe, despite having to enter the hall to access the bathroom. No hair conditioner offered. The breakfast was pretty normal weekend fare (scrambled eggs with cheese, French toast with sandwich-sized bread), fresh fruit cup. No extra food offered on table.

Amazing little oasis! Unique home, with cool decor. Missun and Dave are so kinda and welcoming which made us feel so comfortable. You can tell they are loved because all the guests there are now regulars that keep coming back.

The stay was relaxing, comfortable, homely in the best way..we loved the heated pool & games offered & the arcade took me back..ha ha we played super marios bros original first game & loved it.. the first night we went out swimming & Missunn came out to introduce herself calling me by name (Mlelissa) & remembered our talked prior to me coming. via personal texts🙂 & to top it off we came in from swimming & was welcomed by the smell of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies hot out the oven from Missunn. David was our greater& host he gave us a run down &some neat history & it just felt like u knew him already.. just a great couple & the fellow guests were all so friendly inviting & just chill like we were planning on doing. Thank you both again it was the best experience & our first time staying in a b& b.. you guys rock we will.come again sometime & will recommend you guys
