"Very Convenient "

"Overall it was pretty grim. The hotel smells of smoke and is quite run down. We stayed only one night before an early morning flight and booked here because it offers a 24 hr shuttle. The shuttle did not arrive at the advertised time (every 30 minutes on the hour) because 'it was full'. It then only runs to the domestic terminal so we needed another shuttle to the international terminal. While we were waiting for the shuttle at 4:30am people kept walking intoi the hotel off the street banging on doors and being generally hostile. I must commend the staff who dealt with the disruptions with skill and grace. We experienced similar noise throughout the night during our stay on the 6th floor - people noise from the car park, the street and inside the hotel. A positive was the Louisiana Bistreaux alongside where we had a fantastic creole meal. "

"Staff was very friendly and our shuttle driver was awesome. However the hotel is not very clean, and the beds are not as advertised. "

"When I stayed there was no breakfast as the kitchen /dining area was closed with the staff having no idea when it will be open again . This should be stated in the listing of the hotel because I book places based on breakfast being included . That’s the only issue I had."

"The airport shuttle runs twice an hour and was on time. I will say the staff was rude and did not even check my identification upon check in. The area was also not the best, but is close to the airport. The room was very sparse and uncomfortable. It worked for the few hours of sleep we needed between flights, but I would not stay here again."
