โAbsolutely fine, to say itโs an airport hotel it was so quiet and we didnโt see or hear a single plane! Itโs a busy hotel but quiet and clean, will definitely stay again. โ
โVery easy checkin and out, helpful bag storage, great breakfast, spotlessly clean theoughout. Very convenient accommodation for parents visiting children at the universities. Good public transport links close by. Have stayed several times over the last few years and look forward to returning. โ
โI ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine.
The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished...

โPleasantly surprised. Paul was very welcoming & friendly. He gave us advice on taxis and where to go (taxi less than ยฃ7 to first direct arena - dont get uber!). Hotel dated but really nice. Breakfast was lovely with enough choice. Room good, bed a bit too soft for me. The fan was a welcome addition as it got hot overnight and the quilt is very warm. Shower was extremely powerful only issue with it is its an overhead shower which isnt great for us ladies not wanting to get their hair wet (luckily...
โLaundry service took more than 2days. This was unexpected and made me some how inconvenient.
Other things were very good. Specially, the looptop was good. โ
โI liked the Way it was decorated, in the theme of a log cabin (I really like log cabins )
AND the grounds are Really well looked after.
Because I've just started looking after some grounds about the same size. Maybe a wee bit bigger. โ
