No the kitchen wasn't equipped with utensils or cooking where but I would understand that so be prepared to bring your own at least you have a kitchen that's a plus and yes there's shops nearby very nice

The motel location was very convenient. It was close to everything we were going to do, and the shops were all in walking distance. The rooms were nice and cold at night, making it very comfortable from being out all day. Nice and quiet at night.

This is our favorite place to stay in Rockport. Nothing fancy but nice little motel that does a very good job of providing a nice place to lay your head at night which is all we use it fo.
