"Beautiful grounds, excellent staff but room fell short of expectations - no air conditioning, bath/shower difficult to get into, no shower caps, no toilet brush, flush difficult to use, waste bin not emptied - maybe all OK when built (2005?) but at the price charged we hoped for better. Cooked breakfast was good - they know how to poach an egg - but fruit juices at best were supermarket quality, limited fruit on offer (melon, pineapple and maybe blackcurrant) and same both days were there."

"We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. Don’t be put off by the facade as once you step inside the hotel it is wonderful. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and they work really hard. The room was really clean with super comfy beds and the air con was fabulous. The evening meal we had was very enjoyable and good value for money. The breakfast was again excellent with just the right amount of choice and at £10 each was again very good value for money. We would not hesitate...
