This a beautiful Hacienda .. very conveniently located, steps away from the busyness of downtown without being in the thick of it. A great restaurant (at the corner, facing the sea) for morning coffee & other meals, is steps away. While it’s location & its bones are great, very clean, lovely garden & attentive personnel … one can feel it’s need for a little attention …. For ex a shower curtain that doesn’t reach the floor makes an unimportant little mess … If one is sensitive to the volume of music, a nearby bar can test one’s patience. Luckily the island imposes relatively early closing times. Be that as it may, one may remember, Covid hit a lot of properties / business hard, except for big groups with deep pockets : most are getting back on their feet… Brenda, one of the welcoming team, is a gem, with precious knowledge & a generous spirit.

This is a great place to stay in Cozumel. So pretty and literally just off the malecon. Quiet and comfortable.

At Hacienda San Miguel you feel like you're part of the family. The staff knew me by name even though I hadn't met all of them personally, and every time I walked by the front office the person would call out, "Welcome home!" The price, location, and amenities can't be beat!

Ok for what you pay

The hotel is budget friendly and that's what you can expect. Mattress, linens, and towels are old. They turn off the air when you are out as to not incur expenses. There is no breakfast included. There for s no pool. It is 1 block from the beach which was the only good think. The service was great.

Tuvimos una estancia muy tranquila y agradable. El lugar está muy bien ubicado cerca del centro con muchas opciones de restaurantes y tiendas y a unos cuantos pasos del malecón. El trato del personal fue muy amistoso y servicial. La habitación estaba limpia y contaba con cocina bastante equipada para prepararte tus desayunos o comidas. Sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar aquí.

This place is exquisite. The only negative is that there is a restaurant behind the property that plays loud music late into the night but a set of ear plugs is all you need for that.

El hotel está bien situado para una estancia corta aunque tiene su cocina equipada, y puedes acceder al malecón y al centro en 5 minutos caminando. Es cierto que el hotel necesita algo de actualización y mantenimiento y la habitación era un poco oscura y con techos bajos, pero por el precio es aceptable. Roger en recepción muy servicial y agradable

Nice and warm feeling of Mexican style architecture for building and landscape. Room is clean and comfortable, AC, hot water work great. Kitchen with equipments are great for long stay. Location is not too far to walk to main Cozumel areas and staffs are very friendly. Recommended!!

The front desk staff were friendly, and gave us a quick walk-thru of the room which was a nice touch. A very well-kept and clean heritage property located in a quiet area with very little traffic, but walking distance to the center and water. The bed was comfortable and soft, and hot water was available on-demand! We will be back!

El lugar es bellísimo, sin duda volveremos, la habitación estaba bastante limpia y completa con todas las Amenidades disponibles, el baño es enorme, la cama bastente cómoda, es muy bonito todos esos detalles que le dan a la habitación un estilo de hacienda, su exterior muy hermoso pereces estar en un barrio colonial y lleno de naturaleza, la ubicación del hotel está muy cerca del Ferry y de establecimientos de comida populares, la atención fue Magnífica por parte del personal del Hotel y muy amables. I loved the small hacienda style of the room and property. All staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. Highly recommend if you want to stay in the downtown area.

San Miguel offers the traveler an excellent location very close to transportation and restaurants, but off the busy main street and therefore quiet and peaceful in its lovely bird-filled garden. Room was spacious with well equipped kitchen. Above all these positives is the exceptionally warm and helpful staff that genuinely treated us as individual humans rather than anonymous strangers just passing through. This alone was enough to make our stay at San Miguel so memorable. The only slight negative was erratic internet access.

This property is unique and charming. It is very close to the waters so you can go for a sunset stroll. The manager, and the housekeeping lady, Ms Maria are very friendly, kind and informative. They went above and beyond. I will be definitely back here. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Excellent stay!

This hotel is a jewel in paradise! The staff welcomed me like family, and were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was simple and had everything I needed, including a functional kitchenette, so I was able to shop at the grocery store and prepare meals myself. It is located just steps from the ocean and restaurants, as well as a short walk from the main square and the ferry pier. Some music could be heard at night from a nearby restaurant, but it normally finished by 23h00 and was very quiet after. When not out and about, it was the perfect refuge for sitting outside and admiring the beautiful courtyard. I will definitely stay there again!
