"The elevator was broken my entire stay and so were the ice machines. It was very disappointing and no one was even trying to fix them. I had to carry my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The ceiling in my room was peeling it looked to be due from water damage. The rest of the room was clean and decent. The nicest part of my stay was the kind staff woman running the breakfast buffet. She was so lovely. "

"You could be so much better, but I don’t think you will spend the money with the effort to become that. It’s an old property and it’s very European and I travel all over the world dozens of times a year so I do appreciate some elements of this property, the facilities in my room, but it leaves a lot… A lot… A lot to be desired. You need more lighting in the room that is so simple and won’t cost you anything. You can’t have bunkbeds. I know that seems European, but somebody was complaining that was checking in the same time as me with her daughter how many people really want bunkbeds this is not summer camp. I stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam that was very tight and small and they still managed to put a regular bed. I felt like the staff was more concerned with the martini bar downstairs than guests who are paying $600 a night as opposed to $15 for a cocktail. The var . A high-end boutique hotel needs to protect itself and its guest. I was fine with the lift but its outdated . 2/5"

2/10 Terrible

"One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. Room was very dirty. Stains all over walls. Floor felt sticky. Bed sheets were paper thin. The air quality was terrible. The AC did work but it just brought the cigarette smoke in from outside. The bathroom door was broken and I was stuck inside. The knob would not turn so I had to use a credit card to open the latch. The hallways smelled disgusting. Between 1:30 and 2am the place became a party with loud music and doors slamming. Constant traffic. I actually felt very unsafe and checked out before 3am just to get out of there. The front desk must have know what was going on because when I was checking out so early, he called a room and told them to turn the music down. Never again "
