I know, everyone posts a shot of thos place. Nut it really is a photogenic building.
As for the building, it was a power station where they harnessed the power of the river for pneumatic drills used in the nearby silver mines. It was never a mill.

I finally made it out to the Crystal Mill. I have to say, living in Colorado I've seen some amazing places, but this Colorado icon may be my favourite of all time.

Amazing hiking with so many beautiful views.

A photo I took of the abandoned Crystal Mill on the Crystal River near Marble, Colorado. The view as the sun peaked through the clouds after a snow storm and lit up the mill and surrounding aspens was purely beautiful.
