“Hotel was under renovation and their was a fault on the fire alarm panel both mornings which didn't make the stay feel all that safe with the major renovations going on. Their was no curtains over the window you could clearly see where the pole was taken out the extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom so the window was constantly open and didn't look like it could close. After the stay I recieved another bill from the hotel which km disputing through hotels.com as I had paid for the room...

“A quirky old hotel with large classic rooms with high ornate ceilings, dog friendly and next to river and town centre square with shops n eateries galore, we had a fabulous time for 3 nights, will stay again in the future”

“Our second stay in this beautiful and very comfortable hotel, exceptionally well hosted by Karen (such good breakfasts) and Graham (whose knowledge of where to go and what to do was amazing). Thanks for your care and attention! We will be back at any opportunity!”

“The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small but clean.”

“The staff let me check in at 10:30 AM which is very nice and beneficial. The rooms are very old and dated the outside. Noise is extremely loud no fan, hot room. Don’t make to put any money back into facility.”

“We had a great stay. I was concerned about the self check-in, but it was easy and went very smoothly. The room is small, but it is very nice and updated and clean. A good location as well, walking distance to Old Town if you’re up for a longer walk.”
